Places Draw – 2007 Onwards

The following are the new rules for the above draw(s) and should be noted by all members to ensure you comply with all the qualifying criteria.

Draw 1 – London Marathon Place

The London Marathon places are to be drawn on awards night in December each year – participants in the draw must:

(a)                produce evidence of a London Marathon reject slip, and

(b)               have volunteered to help at a Harriers race or the London Marathon throughout that calendar year, and

(c)                be a fully paid up member as at the first Monday in December that year.

The number of times in the draw will be determined according to the number of races, Harriers organised ones plus the London Marathon – you have helped at during that calendar year – 1 entry per race.

Draw 2 – Volunteers Draw

The volunteers draw will be held each year at the AGM (late March) and will be for cash and vouchers prizes. Participants in the draw must:

(a)          have volunteered to help at a Harriers race or the London Marathon throughout the previous calendar year, and

(b)               be a fully paid up member as at the first Monday in March that year.

The number of times in the draw will be determined according to the number of races, Harriers organised ones plus the London Marathon – you have helped at during that calendar year – 1 entry per race. (Note: Only one prize per person).
