Rob Bishop 4.27.11 100th marathon

Who would have thought it possible to run 100 marathons? On the 31st May 2009 Rob Bishop started this journey at Edinburgh marathon, having been rejected in the London ballot! He trained hard along with Robin Fiander for this epic event in the freezing north, Edinburgh after all must be north of the arctic circle it is north of Birmingham! The day turned out to be hot and sunny and close to a tropical 32 degrees celsius! He caught the bug and did not want to waste all that training! Entering marathons became a habit - as far as I am concerned it just seemed an easy way to avoid stripping wallpaper and decorating! After many £'s spent in entry fees, accommodation fees, and beer to celebrate each finish, he will reached his 100th marathon on saturday 29th October at Snowdon! It has taken him 2 years, and almost 5 months! An awesome achievement!
