The Girton 5km is a multiterrain race held on the outskirts of Cambridge and is organised by the Muddy Mucky Monkeys. Starting at the Pavillion in Girton the route winds its way around sports fields, through wooded areas and along fields to the Guided Bus track and then back to Girton via a track until you hit the road at 4km. Great little event and for affiliated runners only £4.00, Was a tad sticky and slippery following some rain in Cambridge but at least I didn't fall over. Ian Sturdgess |
