It was a nice evening to run the Glooston 10K, with a mixture of runners, serious to beginners. It wasn't chipped timed and it was a mass start and what a start it was.... a big hill! The route took us along country roads and before the 3 mile mark there was a killer hill which many runners walked (but it gave me good training for climbing Everest!). There were a couple of smaller hills afterwards and then a downhill run towards the drink station at the third mile. The course was two loops and the finish was right outside the pub which was good in one way, the drink, and bad in another, everyone was there watching us run (or walk) into the finish! A mug was given to all finishers and prizes for the winners.
