Triathlon Championships 2011
With the season now drawing to a close, it’s time to calculate the championship
placings
2011 League table to
23rd November
Swim Sessions:
Have started at Bedford High School for Girls (BHSG)– Saturday mornings 7 til 8 UNTIL end of April 2012. We have 4 lanes including a ‘beginner / improver’ lane. The cost is just £3 per session (pay Richard, Simon or stand-in coach ). 2011/12 will possibly be the last year that we can use this facility as the site is being sold off. We will finish next year on 28th April when we will begin the migration to open water venues such as Box End Park.
Why not make Saturday morning a multi-sport day? After the swim session at BHSG, Join in the Bedford Park run 5k (9am start) each week and see if you can beat your pb. It’s even possible to leave the swim session slightly early, do a quick transition followed by a quick bike (40 mins?), to arrive at Bedford Park in time for the start and complete the run! Bikes can be left (at your own risk) but reasonably safely at the finish – worth taking a lock though.
Box End Water Ski
Park O/W swimming has now closed up for the season but will be back next April.
