Bedford Harriers welcomed its 2000th member on Monday 3rd September 2013. It took us 18 years to get the first 1000 and only ten to get the second. We currently have 529 members on our active database and consistently have 120 runners on Monday and Wednesday night for training. Mark Turner, our 2000th member pictured here with myself and our Chairman, Steve Crane, said he is happy to be with such a great club who have made him feel most welcome. Our success may be down to our varied membership, with some members running a marathon in under 3 hours and others taking 12 minutes to run a mile and all being treated equally and all very welcome.
