Richard reports that this was a difficult race, with an inch of snow laying on the roads and a start in a blizzard, running the first two miles into a snow storm and visibility about 5 yards. Luckily after about 5 miles the snow stopped and it warmed up to 2 degrees and the snow melted to slush
