The Doug Anderson Memorial 5K:

Bedford Harriers are pleased to announced that the 2008 Doug
Anderson Memorial 5K will be held on Wednesday 23rd July. |
|
The race venue will again be Bedford Park, Park Avenue,
Bedford |
|
The Race will start at 7.30pm |
|
The course will involve two and a half laps of Bedford Park |
|
The Race Limit is 400. |
|
Entry Fees: The postal entry fee
for ARC/UKA affiliated
club members is £6.00 - and for unaffiliated runners £8.00. |
|
Entries
on the night will be £7.50 and £9.50 |
|
Please note that no entry fee refunds can be given under any circumstances. |
|
We will be operating a number transfer system. Those wishing to transfer a number issued to another runner to their own name will need to bring the original number with them on the day. A 'Number Transfer Desk' will be available at the race HQ. |
|
Prizes and cash awards will be
presented
to the 1st three men and the 1st three women. |
|
Age category prizes will be awarded
to the 1st Male vet 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70 & 1st Female vet 35, 40, 45,
50, 55, 60, 65, 70 |
|
There will also be awards for the 1st Male team and 1st Female team. |
|
All finishers will receive a race memento. |
|
Changing & showering facilities will be available in Robinson Swimming Pool, which is located in Bedford Park and at Bedford International Athletic Stadium, Barkers Lane, Bedford. The Athletic Stadium is a five-minute drive to Bedford Park (or around a 15 minute run). |

The race pack will be posted out from the 1st July
2008. |
